230M07, also known as EN1A or 11SMn30, is a low Carbon free cutting engineering steel.

It is most suitable for use in automatic lathes and CNC machines, specifically for manufacturing repetition turned parts, such as nuts, bolts, hydraulic fitting and other precision machined components. Usually supplied in untreated and cold finished condition, it may also be case-hardened to improve wear resistance.

230M07 can also be supplied with added lead content for enhanced machinability.
